The subject of the contract was the construction of a cable collector with internal dimensions of 2.8 m x 2.1 m and a length of 23.5 m. The collector started with a connection to the technology centre building on the eastern portal and ended with a connection to the garage building for the maintenance and repair vehicles of the drainage tunnel. A staircase from the collector to ground level was also constructed as part of the contract. The structures serve to provide off-grade access between the left and right tunnel tubes.
